New Hampshire Public Television Visits Growing Places

Posted on November 10, 2015

PBS  developed a documentary which is bringing great awareness to the importance of the early years (birth-five) through the airing of  “Raising America – Early Childhood and the Future of our Nation”.  The New Hampshire PubDSC_0032lic Television and the Endowment for Health also produced a companion television program called “Raising NH-The Early Years”.  Both documentaries explore how a strong start for all our children leads to healthier, safer, better educated and prosperous America. This broadcast is filled with power packed science and studies that support how investing in early childhood will pay us back ten-fold. Growing Places is honored to be a part of this very important documentary and share a glimpse into our day through video footage and interviews that were captured by NHPTV at our Lee location.  Click here to watch this powerful and moving video!

“Wow! Is all I can say about the show on NHPTV. First of all, it was an excellent show about early childhood and the development and care of our youngest citizens. The love, attention, interactions, play opportunities… It was wonderful to see. Moreover, it made me incredibly proud to be associated with Growing Places. I knew right away when a GP clip was coming up, too, because the kids were barefoot, laughing, and elbow deep in a sensory experience!” ~Amy Leone (Growing Places parent)
